There are no concrete figures in hand yet as to what the pricing will be for new crop Chinese peaches. As previously noted, the peach situation will be very complicated because of the upcoming short crop. Packers don’t want to take the risk of offering prices right now, preferring to wait and offer once they begin to collect the fresh peaches. We hope to get peach offers in early July.
Regarding pears and fruit cocktail, the new crop harvest will be from September onward, so it is too early to have pricing. The only thing possible is to buy whatever offers packers have in stock.
