The price of coconut increased more than 10% in the last 3 weeks. Coconut supply is still less than needed, as although coconut is being imported from Indonesia, it is still not enough. Besides, Indonesia now also has a short supply.
Coconut raw material arriving at the factories is around 60-70 tons/day at 42.00 baht (up from a level 3 weeks ago of 38 baht / kg), and the quantity received of whole coconut is only 50,000-60,000 units per day. We expect that the price of coconut milk will soon be increased further.
