The winter crop hasn’t started yet, and will come in later this season. Raw material prices are expected to remain high at the beginning of the crop, but it’s uncertain what will happen later.

The majority of packers are waiting to start up their operations due to poor fruit supply. Some are tentatively setting up starting plans for end September, but are carefully following the raw material supply situation. If the supply remains as at present and the fruit price rises, they might re-schedule their start-up.
